Waikato/Bay of Plenty Mini Camp 24-26 September 2010 -

The venue for this year’s mini camp is Keswick Camp in Rotorua where we are looking forward to catching up with old friends and enjoying fun times together,

Saturday will find us us relaxing in fabulous thermal pools at Waikite Thermal Valley, soaking while being enveloped in the beauty of this geothermal area which has been developed by the local community.

Tamaki Village will see us experiencing Maori culture firsthand as we travel on the Tamaki Waka (buses) out to Tamaki Village and be welcomed onto the marae and take part in all the experiences on hand. The prospect of a traditional hangi will be sure to keep many tummies warm and full.

Paradise Valley Springs will give all the opportunity to get to know the amazing wildlife that we have in the region and depending on the time that we attend we will have the opportunity to either, see the Lions being fed, and if really lucky be able to pat the Lion cubs!!

Of course in between all these adventures we will mingle in time just to relax, play a few games and catch up with old friends and build relationships and share the CQ experience with our new campers.
